Our services include branding, web design, digital marketing, creative, photography, photographic production and video, all of which are wrapped with end-to-end account management and logistics production - put simply we plan, create and optimise content for our clients.
Role Overview:
In the role of Samples Manager, you will work in a fast-paced photographic studio environment. You will be responsible for managing the sample workflows across the business for all clients - accurately recording and receipting goods-in to goods-out and ensuring samples are on-set ready for shooting which will involve lifting and carrying boxes.
Main Responsibilities
- Managing the end-to-end sample workflow for all of our clients and projects - including but not limited to collecting, delivering, checking in, checking out and the movement of samples/products.
- Working with our Production and the Client Services team to ensure all client sample requirements are managed efficiently.
- Ensuring all samples are checked in and out accurately, efficiently and within a timely manner, ensuring all SLA’s are adhered to.
- Manage all sample queries and communicate/resolve these effectively with the relevant stakeholders.
- Working with both client and internal sample management systems.
- Manage regular stock takes and audits of all samples.
Key skills:
- Experience in managing workflow within a logistics/warehouse environment that covers all aspects of sample management.
- Exceptionally organised with a strong ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and workflows, strong administration skills are required to support this.
- A proactive, flexible & energetic team player who can work calmly under pressure whilst delivering phenomenal attention to detail.
- Excellent people & communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, internally and externally.
- In such a fast-paced environment you must be intuitive, have the ability to think on your feet and have a lot of common sense.
Qualifications:
- Min 2 years experience in a similar role within a logistics/warehouse/sample management operation.
- Experience in this role within a photographic studio or related environment is beneficial but not essential.
- Proficiency in sample management systems and software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Docs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
